A CUP OF COFFEE --


A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, got together to
visit their old University of Notre Dame lecturer. Conversation soon
turned into complaints about stress in work and life.

Offering his guests coffee, the lecturer went to the kitchen and
returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups ?
porcelain,
plastic, glass, some plain-looking and some expensive and exquisite,
telling them to help themselves to hot coffee.

When all the students had a cup of coffee in hand, the lecturer said:
"If you noticed, all the nice-looking, expensive cups were taken up,
leaving
behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is but normal for you to want
only the best for yourselves, that is the source of your problems and
stress.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you
consciously
went for the better cups and are eyeing each other's cups."

"Now, if Life is coffee, then the jobs, money and position in society
are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life, but the
quality
of Life doesn't change."

"Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the
coffee in it."

phew. i was starting to feel like this week would never end. oiy. I got home last night and went straight to the gym. Brandon played the role of personal trainer and had me working out my arms. i am seriously a weakling. lifting weights is almost impossible for me. well i sucked it up and had drill Sergeant B counting for me, and of course spotting me. i did a ton of sets and left the gym with shaky arms. holding my cell was challenging. hah. Angelique and Jered came over for some delicious dinner B made and we watched American idol and then proceeded to sing at the top of our lungs when it was over. yay for terrible voices! you don't become Mariah without practice. winkwink.

the weather has been amazing! seriously the weather in LA has a mind of it's own. but i LOVE it. Can't wait for Spring!!

Oh, and of course i am wearing leggings. :)

So let's see.....we have FOUR bdays this week. Not 1,2, or 3, but 4!!! scream! My bro-17, my grams, my MOMESITA, and my BESTIE!! madness right?? well last night our fam went to dinner to celebrate three out of the four. we went to Bamboo in Sherman Oaks. I have never heard of that place but it was nice and good. i think i ate wayy too much but it was all worth it. laughing, catching up, and singing! loved~

The list of notable Grey’s Anatomy guest stars continues to grow. Joshua Jackson has been singed to a multi-episode arc on ABC’s hit medial drama.

Elizabeth Reaser, Seth Green, Lauren Stamile and others have been announced as guest stars, as the new season continues to feature new faces.

Now it’s Joshua Jackson, 29, who will reportedly play a doctor in the 11th episode of Season Four and continuing for several episodes. This is Jackson’s first stint on TV since the end of his long-running hit show Dawson’s Creek (2003).
