**painting my nails is one of my FAV things to do. it's like getting a new haircut to me. After they are perfectly painted i make sure to do weird hand movements so my fingers fly in front of my face and i can see how pretty they look. :)
***Dancing to music in my head. Dancing is the best therapy there is! i majored in Psych and still think they should have just let us dance.
****Burning candles and then leaving the room for a bit and then coming back to a yummy smelling room. mmmm
*****Watching my cats run up and down the stairs. EEEEE so cute. Mowgly (the thin black beauty) looks so classy as she gently walks down...Mixie (the mixed fatty) charges down like a ton of bricks with all sorts of fatty heaven flapping around. love.
******MORNING HUGS! these occur EVERY morning when B and I wake up. they only happen when both of us are up and out of bed. if i don't have a morning hug i swear it will be a bad day. we dont even think about it anymore. it's like "oh you're out of bed, HUG". :)

Hi guys! how was your weekend? My weekend was GREAT minus the being sick part yesterday and today. :( whyOwhy?!

Friday night B and I stayed in a hotel (it was a bday gift for us) and we went to dinner at Rock Sugar. it reminded me of Tao in Vegas and the food was delicious! i highly recommend it.

Sat B and I ordered room service and vegged out all day. HEAVEN! we went to Malibu to watch a friends band play and then went to Buca's for dinner with B's family. Happy Birthday Nick! ♥

Sunday we went back to DISNEYLAND!! 2Fer!! we had a great group of people and went on a ton of rides. we went back and forth from Dland to California Adventure. so fun!!

Earth

Last night we went to the movies and saw Earth! It was amazinggg! i highly recommend it! I learned so much and loved every minute. well minus the sad parts but it is the circle of life even though it's semi depressing. i wanted the film crew to just feed the animals so they didn't hurt each other. :)

it must have been a dream come true to be a part of the crew and see and experience the things they did during the 5 years of filming.

tradition

Today during lunch the girls and I were talking about........MARRIAGE! weddings, rings, dresses, the proposal, the new house, ring upgrades...blah blah! should he know what kind of ring you want or should it be a surprise? seems to be the main thing we all talk about almost every day. i say almost every day because the other major conversations are about babies, giving birth, pregnancy clothes etc, etc. Today we were talking about how much a guy should spend on your engagement ring. Sure the "tradition" is for him to spend 2 months pay...but now a days (unless he is making 10 g's per month) what can he get without financing it and really, who wants another bill? i feel bad for guys but then again it's like us girls are programmed to only think about finding the ONE, getting married, having babies and living happily ever after so why aren't the guys programmed to save up every penny earned to make those dreams come true? why is it that most guys are clueless about rings? when you talk about different cuts, carats or say the word platinum they gasp out of amazement and confusion. I am not complaining just simply got my wheels spinning during lunch. I have been with my BF for 6 years (in May) and any time i tell someone that the first thing they ask is....."Why aren't you guys married yet?!" The "tradition" is to date for a certain period of time and then get married right? well what is the right amount of time? if you know you are going to spend your life with that person regardless then why is there a time limit? of course i WANT to get married and be engaged but it's just not that time yet. people look at B and i like we are so "behind" when really we are 26, own a condo and have lived together for 5 years. i dont think that's behind at alllllllllll! do you? haha I mean if we are basing our lives off tradition Brandon and I should not be living together...yet. right? so who knows what is the correct time line or the right amount of money to spend but EFF tradition....for now at least. teehee.

My future sister in law (EEEEEEEE) and her friend have a blog Crystal and Diamonds that is a great read for any girl who is obsessed with weddings! Her friend has also been dating her BF for 6 years and can't wait to be engaged and my sis IS engaged and wedding plans are full speed ahead! EEEEE can't wait! hope you like!

Saturday B and I went bike riding from Santa Monica to Venice. we hung out near the beach all day. it was purrrrrrfect!








Sunday we ran the 5k marathon for C A T S Victory for Victims (stop child abuse!!!!!).

HAPPPPPPY MONDAY BLOG WORLD! I am wide awake (well i give the coffee and the extra hour of sleep and coming in to work late the credit but who's asking.....) and wanted to share with you all what a perfect weekend I had! Friday night Brandon and I had the greatest ♥ date night ♥ we both got out of work at 12:30 and went to the mall to shop. we shopped for hours and as we were trying to leave, the car would not start. ARGHHHH! let me just say for the record (for the recooooooord-haha angelique) that I HATE CARS! something is always wrong and a pain in the a$$ to fix! well my parents came to the rescue and thank god all we needed was a new battery. phewwww So from the mall we went to Fridays for drinks. mmmm long island. Brandon and I went home and got ready for sushi. mmmmmmmmm we had the best night together! it was one of those nights that keeps you smiling the next morning!
Saturday we ran some errands and went back to the mall. i know....psycho! ;)after a relaxing day at home we met up with Brandon's fam for dinner and then went out with some friends. great night!



EASTER Sunday-HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL!-we got up way too early, 7:00 to be exact (thanks Angelique ;) ) and we went bike riding with my parents from Santa Monica to Venice. we had lunch in Venice and enjoyed the beautiful weather. it was GORGEOUS out! so....what happens when you are having a great day and you have the feeling that nothing can ruin it? something happens!!!! on our way back one of my pedals fell off!$*!!!!!?? what? how does that happen? so needless to say we had to walk quite a few blocks back to the car. ohhhh geeeez. it's always something i swear. after Venice we went to visit my dad and he got me the best birthday present ever!! a sewing machine! EEEEEEEEEEEEEE! i have NO idea how to work it but i can't wait to learn! DIY projects coming soon (well maybe not too soon, teehee but they are coming!)
after hanging out with my dad we went home and got ready to hang out with Ness! SHE'S IN TOWN AND WE ARE ALL SO EXCITED! we went to a bar to have a few drinks and then went to Clear. ummmmmm note to self to never go out on Easter Sunday. of course i wasnt expecting lines down the block but i also wasnt expecting there to be 5 people, literally FIVE people in the bar. sighhhh. i still had a good time hanging out with all the besties! ♥
