I just wanted to say, THANK GOD FOR MY FIANCE! i would be a wreck without him. ♥ i'd be lost, sad, scared, depressed, lonely, bored, miserable, incomplete and mad. im so thankful for what we have. There are certain people in your life that you expect to be there and they arent. i dont expect him to be there but I sure do love the fact that he is.

when a man loves a woman......

Here's a few of the gajillion pictures we took on Saturday night. I wanted to make as much as I could and wanted lace everywhere!i know I say this all the time but we honestly have the very best friends and family in the whole world. My parents threw us the most amazing party ever! We are so blessed to have their support and so lucky and honored they hosted our engagement party. Their house looked beautiful and we lucked out with the weather. They moved out all the furniture in their house and had beautiful decorations everywhere!! They surprised us with cookie favors with a picture of us from the 9th grade (at our homecoming dance), water bottles that said "congratulations to Brandon & brandi", the caterers were wearing shirts that said "B Squared" and we all got "B Squared" hats. They also had a huge sign made that said Brandon & Brandi. sighhhhh!!!! It was the most amazing party in the world!!!! I didn't stop smiling all night! a HUGE thanks to Brandon's momma for helping with all the vases and for that incredible dessert table she made!!! we had so much fun making things and decorating and i couldn't have dreamt of anything better. I am so happy!!!

Saturday night was a dream! ♥ a fairytale. one a-m-a-z-i-n-g night. Our parents threw us the most beautiful engagement party. it was dreamy.

i love being engaged to an older man. ;)

last Saturday----BRANDON's 28th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B's cousin and his fiance picked us up and we went to Stone Brewery to beer taste. We had the BEST time! drinking, perfect weather, familia and the fianco. Brandon and I so badly want to move to SD. one day..
After beer tasting we went to Bullys for the best food and then off to the club. We had a a great night and so many laughs!

we were Grand at the Grand.

We won a free trip to the Grand Del Mar from the AFSP Out of the Darkness walk. We were so excited to have a weekend away from life. we needed it. We drove up last Friday night and it was amazing! The hotel is stunning and we had the best time. Pics below are from Friday night. We went to a nice dinner and then went to their club to dance. We were the only ones there under 40 and we had a blast. Dancing on stage with older peeps rock. We start off sober and cute and end up drunk and crazy...

Brandon and I went to SD for his birthday. We had a free, yes, FREE trip to the Grand Delmar resort and we had the best time. more coming soon...


My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Japan. ♥ The news is devastating and they really need our help right now. Please donate anything you can here. We have to try to make a difference. This is all so sad and my heart goes out to everyone. ♥

he makes me want to shoop.

you know it's Monday when:::::

getting up in the morning is so hard to do.
wanting to bathe in coffee just to stay awake.
head bobbing at the wheel and praying you don't hit the person in front of you.
an inbox full of emails that you wish you didn't receive.
un-brushed hair since you were up (wedding planning) the night before.
missing the fiance and wishing we worked together.... le sigh.

some of the girls came over on Thursday to help me finish a few projects. (some of my bridesMAIDS below)!! we covered styrofoam in lace and i love love love. cant wait to show you guys how everything looks. so pretty. we had a disaster with the vases (apparently you cant spray a second coat...) so thank god for B's mom who took the time to get new vases and spray them all over again. LOVE!!!!

wedding shenanigans....

HEY HI HOLA HELLO!!!!!!!

I had my first DIY sesh involving wedding things!!! EEEEEEE!
Tuesday night I had some friends and our moms over to help me decorate and paint vases for our engagement party. We had so much fun! We had yummy food, delicious wine and bee hats thanks to B's mom and sis. so funny. worker {b}ees in action. ♥

I have been so inspired by many other bloggers to decorate vases with lace. as seen here, here, here and here. :) i knew i wanted to incorporate as much lace as possible in our wedding and when i found these DIY's i was hooked. We bought black and white lace and every size vase you can imagine. we haven't finished yet but here is a sneak peak in to the fun we're having..... aside from our house smelling like paint (so hard to breathe), and not really worrying that the front door and floor have paint all over them, it's been nothing but fun!!!

i love the girly romantic feel these vases have and I am so excited to see what they all look like once we're done.
