#ProjectMilf ~Week 1

Ciao Bella's! Thank you so much for your support with my goal for #ProjectMilf to be stress free!! (or less stressed out as possible). You can still join us Milf's here!! :)

Here we go, week 1.
I am Brandi, nice to meet you.  As most of you know Husband and I are moving to Italy. We are so close but feel so helpless during this long process of getting visas, work authorization letters, certificates for our apartment, etc.. We are literally weeks away and it feels so far away. There is also so much change going on at work and it's negative energy that is not wanted. We are living at my parents house with our two cats and it's an adjustment. We sold our cars and have to carpool every day. I don't have time to paint my nails all the time and it literally eats at me. ha!

I need to focus on me. I hope you join me on my journey to staying calm and positive through all of this and our big move to a different country. :)

Stress is an ugly animal. The definition of stress is:

stress /stres/
Noun

Pressure or tension exerted on a object.

There are many types of stress ((acute stress, chronic stress, eustress, distress...)) I'd like to personally call my stress Bstress.

Bstress/ beestress
Negative energy wasted on something with little to no value. Frequent freak outs when things are out of my control. Tears out of nowhere due to frustration. Constant worry on how I can make things better. Trying so hard to please everyone.  ok, ok..you get the point. I'm Brandi and I am a stress case.

My stress comes in waves (large tidal waves) and it can be over the smallest thing. I will be riding this #Project Milf journey to deal with unwanted situations without stressing the efff out. I don't want to wake up and be 90 and only look back on the stressful times. I want to take each "negative" situation I am in and flip it around so it's stress free. I know I could learn a lot more if I didn't freak myself out over things that are out of my control. I can and will control my happiness.

“People are disturbed not by a thing, but by their perception of a thing.” Epictetus

So there it is. Me and my goal for #ProjectMilf. Follow us Milf's on this wonderful journey! We can only hope to motivate and inspire you!

see you soon Italy...

You're amazing...what's also amazing is that I somehow lucked out and now call you my wife.

We may not be in Italy yet but this is all part of the journey. Whether we realize it or not, everything has actually begun already.

Little by little we are inching our way there. One thing is for sure...we will get there.

Love you til the end wifey.

your husband is amazing. his words are so true.

two years ago hubby and i were in the exact situation (waiting for our Canadian visa to come). I was a freak of stress, I couldn't think anything but the moment we would get our visa. in the end it came, so as you husband wrote you two will get there.

in the meantime, if you want to practice your italian i am here for you :).

love and hugs

Awe this is great! I love that you've said that you're in control of your happiness, it's so true. We all let little things stress us out, and we need to just be happy.
Hope you have an amazing time in Italy, it's incredible!

Your husband is just too sweet. You two are amazing together. You're both lucky to be able to spend such an exciting time with each other. Italy will come sooner than you think, and it'll all be worth it when you get there. :)

Imagine those who have done this all by themselves~ you are really very fortunate and might not even realize how lucky you are to be able to lean on oneanother! I moved to a new apartment downtown LA all by myself and the whole time I kept wishing I had someone to share it with!! Bon voyage!

I hope all goes well for you! Just take it one step at a time and remember to BREATHE! And hopefully it will all be worth it when you're over there in beautiful Italy, staring at beautiful landscapes, and eating delicious pasta!
