Our first 24 hours in Firenze!

Brandon and I put together a video of our first 24 hours in Italy! We love it here! We feel so comfortable and happy. We bought groceries and pillow cases and cooked in our kitchen. We walked everywhere and went to a club to finish off the day. We had no idea Firenze was such a party place. I am so excited for the road ahead. We wanted to capture our day on film so we can always remember it and to share with you. There are no words to explain how we feel. :) Hope you enjoy!

I hope you all had a great weekend! Did you drink green beer? ;) I had too.much. oy.
I have so much catching up to do. I didn't have the best week last week and I'm excited for a new one. I am going to break up our vegas trip in sections or this post would be uber long and I don't have time to cram it all in.

So here is night one. B and I arrived in Vegas ready to have the best time. And the best time we had! We went to an interesting (by that I mean the way we got there) yummy sushi dinner. If there is one thing we can not eat enough of it is 100% hands down some sushi rolls. After that we went back to our hotel and went to a club and danced our faces off. It was so much fun dancing with my hubby and not paying attention to anyone around us. we owned that club. :) We had so much fun to the point where neither one of us really remember getting back to our room. tee hee. night one=success!

I can't wait to share night two with you. best night evahhhhh!

#projectMilf ~Week #6

Buon Giorno!
We are in week #6 of our MILF project! This week is all about subtracting something from our daily life to help us reach our goal. This is a little more difficult for me but I am going to try and stop checking my emails every.single.second of the night. Italy is 9 hours ahead and I find myself in the middle of the night checking my email in hopes of reading the good news we have been waiting for. I am going to attempt to plug my phone in, set my alarm and not touch it/ look at it/ kick it/ anything until it's time to get ready for work. I have not been sleeping well and this is the reason why.

The night we drove home from Vegas I got this sharp chest pain. It got worse throughout the night and Brandon took me to the ER Monday morning. They did xrays, blood work and an EKG. (scary)They also gave me an IV of meds to help the pain. All of my tests came back negative however I still don't feel great. They say I could have bruised or torn a muscle in my chest or something. I'm thankful all my tests came back ok but then it's also so frustrating not knowing what is wrong. The pain is getting better but I feel like someone is sitting on me. The more and more people that I tell the more I get asked are you stressed out? Have you had a panic attack recently? Well, YES I am stressed out and no I have never had a panic attack...If my pain is from stress...holy moly. I need to let go of all things I can't control and concentrate on being healthy. It scared me being at the hospital and being poked with needles. I am the biggest baby. Not sure how I'm going to be when I get pregnant. yikes! lord help me.

So my progress with trying to stay stress free isn't the best this week. We had a much needed vacation and I didn't think about Italy once. I didn't think about anything negative. We laughed all weekend and enjoyed each other's company. It was perfect. I have so many wonderful Vegas stories for you! I can't wait to share. Now that we are back...helloooo stress monster! I'm hoping to receive some good news and relax this weekend. I'm going to put my phone away and not check my work email. I'm going to enjoy some nice ME time. I need Me time. and Husband time. :)

I am so thankful for my husband. He is keeping me sane and grounded and I just adore that man.

#Project Milf ~ Week #5

Happy Milf Thursday!
This week has been a roller coaster for Husband and I. We received yet another pointless update on Italy saying there was still no update. That shouldn't be considered an update when there is no update. sighh. The immigration office is still running slow and they will get to it when they are done with their cafe y pasta de crema. :[

Work has been crazy...The Italy updates are really taking a toll on me. I want the good news to come already. It stresses me out and gets me so down when people ask me the status and I say "I don't have one". It's a weight on our shoulders. It's a weird situation to be in. The whole thing is not ideal and Brandon and I are trying so hard to be patient.

With that said...Brandon is turning the BIG THIRTY next week! cray to the zeee. We met when we were 12 years old. So with all this stress, the adjustment to our new temporary lives and the unknown...WE ARE GOING TO CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY IN VEGAS THIS WEEKEND! that deserved all caps so you can try to understand how excited I am. I'm little kid excited. We have some exciting plans this weekend and I can't wait to share with you next week. <3

So this week marks week #5 with the Milf project. Week #5 is all about adding something more to help us reach our goal. My something more is to let loose this weekend and celebrate my Husband's birthday like two 21 year olds. I am so excited to have fun with him, celebrate his life and just laugh all weekend. This mini getaway is so very much needed and I am looking forward to it all. Stress free weekend--HERE WE COME!
