I do AGAIN!

Ciao BELLI!
I can't even apologize for being the worst blogger but I'm here and healthy and happy! :)
I miss you!

I was seriously stressed out that my blog has been neglected and I didn't know where to start and I told myself to stop. drop. shut em down. open up shop.....ohhhhhhhhhh NOOOOOO!
no but really I'm going to take my time and start where I need to start. My Hubby's dirty thirty! First night is here.
Second night was SO much better because we were able to cross something off our bucket list. What you ask....Getting REmarried in Vegas!!! yep, some of you may have just judged us Scarpelli's but it's something we wanted to do. Now we are married in California AND Nevada. boom! ;) (disclaimer, you can only be legally married in one state)

So we made a reservation, drank some champagne (some= the bottle) and we went to the Little White Chapel to say I DO Again!!! At first it was funny to us. We dressed up and wanted to go get hitched like two kids running away from home. It was so much fun! We walked in and I got nervous. The place was funny and not what we expected although I couldn't really tell you what we expected...They called us in and asked what type of ceremony we wanted...TO RENEW our vows!! duh! <3

There we were...
The boom box in the corner played "here comes the bride" and it was GO time. Brandon was standing at the front in this empty room with our officiant and the coolest witness. I looked up at Brandon and giggled. He was so sexy. I swear we locked eyes like we did on September 3rd 2011. It was magical. Beautiful things were said and when it was time to face each other we literally had the biggest smiles on our faces! I was teary eyed and it was just perfect! Just us. We both repeated after him and then said our vow"Love you till the end". "You are now pronounced AGAIN Husband and Wife"!!!! WEEEEE!!!!! We walked to the back of the room and our new life began! :)

It was so much fun and I loved every single second. We got a limo ride to our hotel and it was a night we will never forget! And since I'm such a cheese ball...here's a fun fact::: Our "real" wedding date is 9/3 and we REmarried on 3/9. CRAZY RIGHT!?????? meanttoB!
Husband's pov and more pictures here. :)

Brandon,
I love you so much old man!
Love you till the end!!
Brandi

I can't wait to catch up with you all!!!

Lots of love!

nerdy 30.

Ciao!!
I am so excited to share my birthday post with you! (I still need to finish Brandon's but the pics are on a different computer. Italy problems. stay tuned...)
So...I just turned the big THREE-OOHHHHHH. ugh Thirty. I miss my 20's already.
I am a freak about getting older and I just want time to slow down. Especially now that I'm in Italia. Slow down life...I need a few years to take it all in. and then babies. :)
but I'm still nerdy. and now thirty. boom.

Husband planned the most amazing day for my birthday. We went on a wine tasting/ castle tour in Siena. SIENA! Words cannot describe how amazing it was! I mean to celebrate my birthday in Italy was incredible but wine tasting in Tuscany! le sigh... (am I dreaming?)
It's been raining all week and it just so happened that Saturday April 6th was a gorgeous and sunny day!  We got to our first winery and the views were enough for me. If we just saw the views and went home it would have been amazing but the wine and castle tour and cellar tours and lunch in a tiny medieval village and just the most perfect day with my husband. Life can't possibly be any sweeter! It was a magical day that I will never forget.

I miss my friends and family dearly and after this week of being alone it's really hit me. Celebrating a BIG birthday without them was hard. I miss everyone so much. so so so so much. But Husband really made it a special day and I feel so blessed to have him. He is my very best friend! Thank you Brandon for being so good to me. I love you till the end.

My family and friends sent me the sweetest videos and messages and emails and snail mail. I am such a lucky girl! Thank the lord for skype, face time and viber. :)
ugh...30.

The tour we went on was Angie's Tuscan Wine Tours and we highly recommend it. They were amazing! If you are in Tuscany this is your tour! :)

Picture story below! cin cin!

Seriously this was one of the best days of my life.

~ProjectMilf-Week #10-lucky ones.

Ciao ciao!
Happy week #10 to my MILF's! Can't believe it's been 10 weeks!

This week has been super emotional. After sharing the best weekend ever celebrating my 30th birthday with my Husband (post coming soon)...It all ended. He left Monday morning to LA for work. Monday morning was my first day at work...in Italy. It was an exciting and oh so terribly sad morning. I cried and cried when he left. I don't do well when we are apart. Call me lame, call me pathetic, call me maybe? I simply love being with him and around him. He makes me feel safe and normal. And when he's gone...I'm lost. I feel so lame. and lonely. And not to mention I'm in Italy alone. not complaining at all. just really missing my friends. my girls nights. my family. my kitties. my Husband. He'll be here in 5 nights. Feels like a life time away.

Work is amazing so far. I just love the people I work with and the opportunities I have been given. Life is amazing right now!

This week is about the songs we are currently tuned in to that help us relax and help us move. This is a great week for this since certain songs are so powerful for me right now.  ((Italian girl party of 1)) :{

Here's my songs and my reasons.
*Let her go-Passenger. The lyrics are beautiful. It's all about not knowing what you have. and although I hate to vent about being in Italy alone...it's not the same without Brandon. it's just not. It's about life and everything ironic about it.
*Just give me a reason-Pink & Nate Reuss. I just love it.
*No one's gonna love you-Band of Horses. How I feel.
*Lucky ones-Lana Del Rey. This song is literally written about my life right now. I truly feel like we are the lucky one's.
*Bonnie&Clyde-Jay-Z&Beyonce. I'm ready B! "Put us together, how are they going to stop both of us"? "sometimes I trip on how happy we can be". la dolce vita!
*Bara Bara Bere Bere-Alex Ferrari. The Italian jam! It's amazing!! Immediately starts a dance party in the house. you must listen to it and then google translate. :)
*Home-Phillip Phillips. This is the very first song we played in our new house and it is starting to feel like home.
*You make it real-James Morrison. This is my favorite song and every single word is how I feel. every word. This was runner up for our wedding song. We had to go with the 7th grade song..but this song means so much.
*Skinny love-Bon Iver. See reason for "Just give me a reason".
*Better together-Jack Johnson. 3rd runner up for our wedding song. This song is truth about our marriage. sepia tone lovin...
*Feel so close-Calvin Harris. Well simply because THERE's NO STOPPING US RIGHT NOW!

So..clearly my mood lately is chill and soft[er]. And when I hear these I smile and say goodbye to stress. or cry. BAHHHHH

Husband,
COME HOME!

Happy 10 weeks to the best Milf's! I'm so inspired by all of you!

Palazzo Vecchio

Jeans-jbrand, sweater&necklace-Forever21, jacket-Italy, bag&sunnies-Guess, hat-H&M, gloves-Tulle design by my bestie.

One of our favorite things to do in Florence and I'm sure will always be a fav is taking walks. We can walk down the same street every day and see something different each time. Florence is so beautiful and has so much history to offer. I love to learn and explore and want to find every gem this city has to offer. We stolled around the Palazzo Vecchio and enjoyed the statues and the people watching. :)

Week 1 in Firenze.

Happy Friday! well for me anyway...
I hope you all had a great week! Husband and I did so much this week. Yesterday was our one week anniversary in Firenze! So amazing!

Highlights of the week:
-We found a place to grocery shop. This is a big deal people!
-We have been cooking dinner in our home every night and having so much fun doing it!
-I chopped my hair off. This is the shortest it's even been! It's growing on me but I love it so far. It's fun, lighter and so much easier to manage! :)
-We found some bars that we feel will be our bars. I can't wait to be regulars.
-We bought a European blow dryer. Every time I used mine there was a mini firework show that would cause a black out in our house. Thank god I brought my straightener,  hair wand and curling iron. all I can not use. le sigh.
-We realized that living in the center is one of the loudest places to try and sleep. Is it necessary for people to scream down these tiny streets? Sing at the top of their lungs? Do construction at 6am? This is going to take some getting used to. We can hear e v e r y t h i n g.
-We hiked up to the Piazalle Michelangelo which are where the photos are from below. It was breath taking. I wish I could describe the feeling Florence gives me. I belong here. I love it here. I just wish all of our friends and family were here too. It's hard not knowing anyone.
-We went for a run around the river and in to areas we haven't been to yet outside of the center. It was surreal working out in our new city.
-Brandon bought me my very first Italian leather jacket and I'm obsessed. like I died. It's so yummy.
-Brandon and I have been able to spend so much time together without the stress of driving to downtown every day, working at a place where it was toxic and coming home to a waiting game of when would we be moving. It's nice to enjoy our marriage and go on dates and hold hands in Firenze. I have fallen in love all over again. :)
-Brandon booked a full day of wine tasting for my 30th where we will visit Chianti and go on a castle tour. WHAT? is that real? I'm so excited! This is going to be the best birthday ever!
-We went to the police station to register our long term stay in Florence. Feels so good!

That's my weekly updates so far. We have so many pictures to share. Stay tuned for this wild adventure to continue!

Brandon and I can't explain how much appreciate all of your support! Your positive energy and sweet messages make us feel so good!

Grazie!

Bomboloni caldo.

Ciao from Florence! I'm sure "ciao" is getting annoying but I haven't even been here a week. Please bear with me...

Husband and I stumbled upon this place while walking home called Cucciolo Bar Pasticceria and I have to write about it. I'm sure to locals it's not a place they go to. It's crowded with tourists and is always packed. We noticed their pizzas for 3 Euros and had to stop in. Everyone was so friendly. We got two pizzas and two beers for so cheap. We sat down at a table and noticed everyone coming in for their "donuts". My ears perked up. DONUTS! what?! where? what are they? when were they made?
So...they have been making these donuts aka 'Bomboloni caldi' for 70 years. seven zero. It's their specialty! and they are 1 euro! They make a cream (crema) filled one-custard like, chocolate one (which I'm pretty sure is nutella-swoon) and a marmalade one. Husband and I got a cream one and chocolate one and shared. oh how my life changed.
These puffy little treats were divine. To make it better...We noticed they were falling from the ceiling in this contraption and in to powdered sugar. WHAT?! They are shot from the kitchen in this tube to the front and dropped in to a sugar pool. Amazing right? I know.

If you are in Firenze, you must go try a donut. or two. no judging.

 pc-Husband

Another thing I 100% love about Firenze is the nutella obsession. my kinda place. :)

ciao!!!!!!

Buona Pasqua!

Happy Easter from Firenze! Or shall I say Buona Pasqua!!
We are not religious however being in Italy is intense and it makes you feel so close to something powerful. or maybe it's just me. I can't get over the gorgeous scenery. It's stunning and on Easter we were able to be a part of something magical. We went to the Duomo and they do the Scoppio del Carro ("Explosion of the Cart"). It was amazing! There was a medieval parade and they had parts of the mass going on inside playing on loud speakers outside. There were so many people in the streets waiting to see Firenze's fate. It's a tradition dated back to 1097 and if the cart explodes Frienze will have good luck for one year. Lucky for us it exploded and it was beautiful! and loud! holy bajeeebus! I have never been that close to fireworks before. :)
We taped the explosion because words cannot do justice.

We hope you all had a lovely Easter with your families!

Ciao Belli!
