Here is my F L O R E N C E post. Florence Italy is a place where I will live. a place where I will work. a place where Husband and I will live for a few years before we "settle down". ~~(((before kids)))~~ I promise. (i hope)..

I went to Florence for work right after Hong Kong. Well I came home for 48 hours and got to see hubs and got to spend Tracy's bday with her and then....and then I got back on a plane. EEKKKKK!
When I arrived in Florence I fell.in.love. I have been there before when I was 18 but totally admit that I took it for granted. I was only worried about partying, drinking and sleeping. NOW all I want to do is walk around and learn everything about that beautiful city. I'm so in love. I have never wanted to move somewhere so so so bad. never. I mean sure..New York sounds nice for a year, Boston..cool, London--amaze but Florence...Florence is THE place. THE place I see me and Husband enjoying our newly wed life. Le sigh....

ok, so shame.on.me. for being a t e r r i b l e blogger. But I'm over the lull. (how amazing is the word lull by the way?)
ok, ok..
So this weekend started off so CRAPPY and then got uber exciting. I went to work the CZ Falconer fashion show and ended up being IN the fashion show!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my first time doing anything like that. I was so nervous, excited and honored to be the impromptu model for CZ Falconer. Their new line is to die for and I seriously loved every piece. So gorgeous!
The crowd was amazing and I just couldn't help but laugh every time I walked the "run way". I had 3 looks and was on such a high. I want moreeeee!! :)

My brother and his friends had a table so after the show we danced and danced! B and I felt so old but that didn't stop us from getting a slice of pizza at 2am. oh yah!! pushing 30 and still rock stars! ;)

Sunday was definitely a fun day! we had friends over and semi watched the super bowl, laughed at the half time show and played beer pong like champs. again...rock stars. ;)

CIAO lovers~~~~

How are you? Ive missed blogging so, so, SO much. I can't even explain how crazy busy beautifully insane my life has been lately. Work has taken over my life. Emotionally & physically. We let go of a bad seed at work and I couldn't be happier. Good riddance to the bad seed.

I went to Hong Kong for work for a week, came home for 2 days and then went to Italy & Switzerland for a week for work as well. insane in the membrane.

Here is my Hong Kong post although I can't wait to tell you about my dreamy time in Florence (aka the city I will live in some day...)

Hong Kong is intense. Our work days were full of early mornings, all day reviewing samples and fancy dinners. It's always an amazing opportunity to be able to travel for work and learn about the business but it can also be very exhausting. This city never sleeps. We were there a week before CNY so we got to see a ton of great decorations! Jet lag does not affect me until I am home and let me tell you, the 2 days I was home...I slept and slept and slept.. Poor Hubs.

2011 was the best year of my life. I married my best friend! I have a husband! a Mr. a lifer!!! ♥

Asking my lovely ladies to be my bridesmaids.
Having the perfect engagment party given by our lovely parents.
Going to Vegas for the best bachelorette party here & here. Best weekend ever!
Had the perfect bridal shower thrown by my lovely family! Michael Bolton was a hit!
Had a dreamy intimate bridal shower given by my maids! It was perfect. ♥
Registering was so.much.fun.
Sending out our save the date's with our date and location was so surreal!
Sending out our invitations!!!! best feeling ever!
cake tasting and finding the perfect little place to make our wedding cake.
My brother and sister-in-law are pregnant!!!
dance dance dance! Another LA Unbound show in the books! :)
Going on the worlds best honeymoon in Tahiti! Moorea and Bora Bora made all of our dreams come true. :)

I loved 2011 and am looking forward to another great year!

On the 2nd day of Christmas I am so blessed to be where I am in my life. I couldn't ask for anything more. I have the best Husband, love our kitties, our perfect little house, my job, our amazing friends and love our supportive family. I am so thankful. :)

ok..so call me a slacker but I will catch up....NOW.

On the 9th day of Christmas I am so thankful for our two amazing love bug precious pumpkin kitties! They make us smile every day, make me laugh with their looks and poses and make me crazy when they scratch the carpet, knock things over on purpose, jump on the table all at... 2am. But We simply adore our fur balls and are so happy to call them our roomies! Life would not be the same without them. :)

On the 8th day of Christmas I am so thankful for coffee. c o f f e e . It's the reason I'm able to function m-f. The reason I am awake past 3pm at my desk. I have a slight addiction to it's smell and love it black. (that's what she said?) I kid I kid but honestly I drink my coffee black. :) So much thanks to coffee after all these years.

On the 7th day of Christmas I am so thankful for sweets. Yes, sweets. I have to eat something sweet after e.v.e.r.y. meal even if it's just one m&m. I need sugar. it's crazy and strange and my husband thinks it's a problem. but it's a good problem to have.

On the 6th day of Christmas I am so happy to admit I have the craziest obsession with nail polish. As most of my readers know about my obsession with nail polish I am so thankful it's not something that costs a fortune. I hate when someone else does my nails. I hate having the same color on my nails for more than a few days. I find it therapeutic to paint my nails. I do get a manicure once in a while but only for the complete package. not for the polish. 9 times out of 10 I leave the nail shop, go home and repaint. I admit...it's a problem.

Saturday was such a fun day in the Scarpelli household! We started our morning off with making tamales at B's Grandma's house with his familia. it's the best! Our friend Dana helped us and it was so fun. I seriously love making our tamales, laughing, eating and spending time with the fam. :)
After our tamale making workshop B and I went to Christmas tree farms to cut down our own tree. SO FUN! We walked around looking for the perfect tree and oh by golly did we find it! We named him Albert Arboles. :) (#thingsmarriedpeopledo)We took it home and gave it some Scarpelli love. See video below. :)

It's 12 days before Christmas!!!!!! TWELVE! crazy right?

I'm going to do a special series each day of twelve things I am thankful for and so fortunate to have.
On the 12th day of Christmas I am so incredibly thankful for my amazing Husband! He has taught me how to love someone more then I ever thought possible. He has taught me to forgive when I thought I couldnt. He has made me laugh every day for 9 years. He makes me smile and treats me like a Princess. His Princess. I love him more and more every day. He is my very bestfriend and I am so fortunate to have been able to marry my soulmate. This past year has been the best one yet and I can't wait for the next chapter in our lives.
I will love him till the end. ♥

Loving my life!

Here is a list of all things big and small that I am thankful for:

♥ My truly amazing Husband! He is patient with me, the most forgiving, the sweetest, the most caring, the most passionate, the very best friend anyone could have and oh so handsome. He truly completes me! I am so blessed to have married my very best friend! This past year has been magical for us and I can't wait for our next chapter! It's the best feeling in the world to live each day with the person you love most. He makes me laugh every day and I wouldnt change a single thing about our lives together! Can't believe this was our first holiday as a married couple. :)
♥ coffee in the mornings! the smell, the taste, the caffeine. score!
♥ I am so grateful to have been able to have the wedding of our dreams! Our families are the very best and we couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful! so blessed!
♥ Our amazing families! We are so blessed to have the most supportive families!
♥ Our friends who are family! We are so lucky to have the love and support from the very best friends!
♥ Nail polish. Nothing makes me happier than freshly painted nails!
♥ Our perfect kitties. We have a little family that I simply adore. snuggle time in the morning completes me.
♥ I am so excited for the new baby Stone in our family! 7 more months until we get to meet him/her.
♥ I am so grateful for our little home! It's been ours for almost 5 years and we love it. Although we are busting at the seams and ready for a house-house, we have shared some of the best memories (THIS ONE FOR SURE!!!) and we love everything about our case de B's.

♥ I am thankful for my job and the opportunities it has given me. I may have 100 complaints about the day to day but I get to work with some amazing people who have become great friends and I have been blessed to have a solid job for the past four years. I was promoted recently and have been able to travel to places I probably would never go to. It's a love/hate relationship but I am truly thankful.
♥ I am thankful for freshly washed bed sheets. There is something about the smell, the feel that makes me screech like a little kid.
♥ I am so grateful to dance! Dancing makes me forget about the bad and to live in that moment. I love to dance and love who I am when I'm dancing.
♥ I am so thankful we finally got our marriage license! Can't wait to change everything so I am officially Mrs Scarpelli!

BEST NEWS EVER!!!!

My older brother and sister seen here (and many other posts) are.....PREGNANT!!!! B and I are so excited and so so so happy for them! I am so emotional and I can't wait to be an Auntie to a new baby Stone! ♥

Saturday night we found out they were preggers, cried, screeched, toasted and then headed off to celebrate Sam's 30th birthday at Malo. So fun to hang with mi familia and some of the girlies I was in their wedding with. HI KATIE!!! Katie recently got married and her pictures taken by Heather Kincaid are to.die.for. stunning right? :) It was so great to catch up and eat the best tacos! groundbeef and pickle. yes please. You must go if you live in/ near the LA area.

One of the most important things Brandon and I wanted to do for our ceremony was write our own wedding vows. This was something we always talked about and we did just that. I shared with you the sweetest gift Brandon sent me the day of our wedding here. I found it difficult to write my vows because I couldn't keep them short. I wanted to tell Brandon everything I felt, everything he meant to me, everything I loved about him. But we would have been there for weeks. I was nervous. Were my words ok? Would he love them? Then IT hit me...I started to just write on a small piece of paper and I loved the result. I couldn't read them without tears running down my face and I knew they were perfect. Perfect for us.

Brandon and I always tell each other "Love you till the end". always. This is our saying (and the couple's from P.S. I love you). The song from the Pogues is beautiful. It's our saying. and...the most special part about our vows is how we both ended them. When I said it, he started crying and i knew...I knew he would end his the same way and he did. That feeling was magical! and that feeling was the reason I wanted to write our own vows. ♥

What do you guys think about writing your own vows? It's hard if you're emotional. I said his name and started crying. HA!

LA Unbound

Last Saturday we were asked by Dancescape to perform a routine we did in the last LA Unbound show in June. We did this dance (go to 1:15). I loved hanging with the girls and laughing as we HURRAYY'd.

LA Unbound is performing the Nutcracker Unbound in Dec. I will not be in the show but encourage all you lovely LA peeps to go see this amazing show! Here are a few things that make me smile, cry, laugh and sigh..
[smile] *staring at my husband when he has no idea. I love that man more than anything and I.simply.can.not.get.enough.
[smile] *practicing my new signature with my new last name. It still looks like scribble scrabble but I will get there.
[smile, cry, laugh and sigh] * listening to Rascal Flatts anything. anything. I can smile, live it up the way a single girl does
But what he, what he don't know Is how hard it is to make it look so Eeeeeeeeeeaaaaasy
[smile] *a hot cup of coffee. the smell, the taste..i love me some coffee.
[laugh] *running in the rain. i don't know why but i giggle like a kid at Disneyland. I love the rain, the smell, the cold. love!
[sigh] * shopping online, adding everything in to my shopping cart and dreaming about what it would be like to check out.
[smile, cry] *reading Kristian's blog has affected me more than I can explain. I've become a huge fan (slightly obsessed) of his and I am heartbroken. He is a fighter and I admire his strength. Cancer is terrifying and I'm sure we have all been affected by it one way or another. Most of you know how it hit close to home in my family and although it ripped us apart in a very negative way...I admire this Father's strength. (I will not go in to detail about the relationship I no longer have with my father on my blog. I hope you all understand). Kristian's children and his wife are everything to him. He is fighting for them. He is still their father. It makes me jealous in a way. Why do some people let their illness rip the family apart? I can't imagine what it is like to be dealt that deck of cards. i cant. and i can't speak on any one's behalf..but Kristian is a hero in my book. His family is so lucky to have him. To have him fight for them. He has inspired me and I will continue to pray for him and his precious family.

I woke up this morning and it was rainy out. FINALLY! I love love love the rain. and I'm really excited for the sun to go away for a bit..call me cray cray but I am. I slept like a baby last night and did not want to get out of bed. (husband is home) :)

So with that said my hair is up in a messy bun. I look like I just rolled out of bed which led me to looking up amazing hair pics. and being jealous. again..cray cray.

our Halloween post

so...If you're a Blicious reader, clearly my favorite day is Halloween. or shall I say my favorite weekend is Halloween weekend! ♥ I love dressing up!

Brandon and I went as bride and groom trolls! Everyone got a good laugh and I enjoyed being a bride again. I wish I could get married every year...to the same guy of course.

Friday night-we had a party at our place and reminisced about the most amazing.proposal.ever. ♥
I got to wear my wedding accessories (earrings, dance shoes, garter, a similar bouquet..) and B wore everything but his bow tie. he's so handsome. Even with that ridiculous wig on..

Saturday night we went to a surprise bday/ Halloween party and then went to a party at my friend Dana's. unfortunately we drank way.too.much. on Friday night and I felt awful all day sat. all.day. but we still had a fun night! :)

Sunday B and I relaxed, went to Super car Sunday (it's a car show thingy and I agreed to go only if I could wear a tutu. yay me!) I'm thinking Tutu Sunday will be a thing now. yep, it will be. done thinking...
We cleaned our house, watched the Cowboys lose (ughhhh) and carved pumpkins!!! one of my favorite things to do!

I'm IN LOVE with our pumpkins! ♥

Monday-aside from work...B went to Vegas for work (boo.) and Tracy, my parents and I went to WeHo for the parade!! Can I just say it's amazing down there. To people watch, to get creeped out and to get a good laugh! So fun! I went as a raver/ Juilliard drop out/ crack head/ OMG she has pink hair girl. After the parade we went to a bar in Sherman Oaks and saw our ghostbuster friend Brett. The other "B" in our lives.. ;) well actually his car outside the bar was the reason we stopped. It was such a great Halloween weekend. So easy, breezy, funsies...

Last weekend was a grrreeeaatttt weekend! Friday night my friend/ wifey and I went to see the Foo Fighters at the Forum. SO.FUN. I was not a {omygod Dave Grohl is so hot} fan but after the concert...I was. OHMY!! so yummy! there is something about the way he performs. I'm not a fan of long hair/bearded/ insane stache guys but when you put it all together with the singing/ head throwing/ guitar playing/ drum playing and sweat. YES please.

Love me some Dave Grohl. ((and I'm not a fan of the saying "rock & Grohl". ew. dont say that, please.))

Saturday night we went to the Incubus concert at the verizon amphitheater with our friends. the.best.night! tailgating in the parking lot, singing at the top of our lungs (not to incubus) just random songs we felt like singing, rocking out to Incubus, drinking and laughing so hard! We had the best time! and Incubus rocked it!!! ♥

Brandon took me out on a hot date last night to cel.eh.brate good times, come on! We went to Fogo de Chao in Beverly Hills. It was AMMMMAZING! I can not believe we haven't been there before. really. I can not say enough great things about it. mmmm their bread. oh my lanta...drool.
We had the best time laughing and eating. Eating way.too.much. I mean as soon as you eat something the waiters replace your plate with a new one. INSANE!
We walked ((rolled)) out hurting. I'm still full.

Happy Monday!!!
I know it's going to be a great day! 1-because I was promoted last week and it's official today. :) 2-Husband is taking me out to dinner to celebrate! EEEEEE!!! ♥

When we got back from our magical, magical, magical, magical, magical, magical, magical, honeymoon, I chopped my bangs! I love them! It took some getting used to and now it's a love-love relationship. I feel like I'm 12 again.

A few nights after we got back from our honeymoon we went to dinner at the Great Greek with B's mom and sis. Such a great night!

Last weekend Brandon had his last FD event of the season at Irwindale Speedway and he got his sis, Tracy , her bro and I in. We had such a great day thinking we were car models, drinking wayyy too much and laughing all day! Vroom Vroom!

but...how hot are we????

The next night we went to the FD awards banquet. It was nice to get dressed up and meet all of B's coworkers.

Honeymoon- Day 11 & 12

We went to the main island of Bora Bora and rented bicycles and road to Bloody Marys. It was so good and a fun environment. It's crazy to think every celebrity has been there. We enjoyed our last sunset and our last few dinners. We jumped off our hut as many times as we could and we enjoyed celebrating the beginning of our marriage!

Here's a few from our last day in Moorea and then off to Bora Bora. I want to go back for Mora Mora. ;) We arrived at night and took a boat to the Hilton lobby. insane! i felt like P. Diddy/ Diddy/ Sean--whatever the hell he goes by now.
Brandon and I were in shock when we arrived. Out overwater villa was HUGE, the view was stunning and it was all ours. Seriously you guys, GO TO BORA BORA!

Honeymoon-day 7/8

Day 7
We met an amazing couple from Montreal and hit it off. We feel like we have known them for years! They are so sweet and so fun! We rented a boat with Mark and had the best day. We anchored at a tiny island, snorkeled, found our boat slamming on shore, went to the marina, bought wine, drank the wine, gossiped for hours, anchored miles from shore and jumped in to waist deep water. It was the perfect day. Brandon and I will never forget the fun we had on the boat ride. It was truly a highlight on our honeymoon. ♥

The best is yet to come. Moorea was amazing! HEAVEN! but Bora Bora...there are no words..

Hi lovies!
Here is day 5 on our magical honeymoon! We did an ATV tour of the whole island and learned so much. Moorea is fascinating and I think everyone should go there at least once in their lifetime. We went to Magic Mountain which is the highest point and has the most amazing views in the world. Breathtaking! We went to the a place where they grow vanilla bean and tried freshly squeezed pineapple juice which was to die for. It was an amazing day!

Honeymoon-Day 4

..and we're back..Honeymoon day 4 ♥

Day 4 we did a jet ski tour and swam with the sharks and stingrays. The sharks were not scary. They were actually afraid of people so it was great to only watch them swim off. The rays on the other hand were terrifying! I hated it. The baby in me came out hard core. I mean we have jumped out of a plane, gone on ride alongs with B, survived meeting Mariah Carey, hiked a waterfall in Jamaica but this...this was something else. It was creepy and slimy but I'm happy we did it. Our tour guide had fish chum with him and billions (more like 100's) of them came to us. EEEK! I was holding on to B {and the other's in our tour when B would throw me off} as if i was about to die. There were so many and we were told to not step on them. UMMM seemed impossible. And what happens if mother nature decided to have a bad day and one of those suckers wigged out. Then what? needless to say I was so happy to hop back on the jet ski and go light years away from those creepy creatures. ickkkkeeeezzzz.
We also took some amazing pics of the sunset and then it was off to Rudys. best.food.ever. If you go to Moorea (you should) order the parrot fish. #blicious

Honeymoon-Day 3

Day 3 in Moorea was one of my favorite days. (if I had to choose)

Brandon and I rented a scooter and explored on our own. It was such a perfect day! I felt like we were in a cheesy romantic comedy laughing and driving around having zero clue where we were. and a fun fact for the day---I love me some cheesy romantic comedies! ;)
The island has one main road and you can go around in about 45 minutes. We rented the scooter for 7 hours, stopped at each hotel for a drink and to compare to ours (no joke the Sofitel is by far the best), ate amazing pizza at a local place, went up to Belvedere to see the incredible views, did some alcohol tastings at a juice factory, drove down roads where we were the only ones for miles, got lost, stopped off to take a thousand pics of everything, met the nicest people and fell in love all over again. It was a magical day. ♥ When we first arrived to the island our tour guide told us there are about 18 thousand people on the island (Babe is that right?) and only 20 cops. there is zero crime. I have never felt so safe in a place before. It was the best feeling to roam around and not worry about anything.

Here is day 1 & 2 on our magical Honeymoon!
We landed in Tahiti and took a ferry over to the island Moorea (pronounced MO'O'REAHH).
It was unbelievable! The pictures will speak for themselves...

It's so fun to relive it! but nothing will ever compare to that vacation. nothing! it was by far the best ever! I mean, aren't honeymoons supposed to take the cake as far as vacations go???

The last pic is of us and the polynesian dancers during dinner. so fun! All the locals speak french so we walked around saying Bonjour and Merci as if we were french! time of our lives...

Brandon and I have been a total "married couple" lately. Cleaning house, loving our kitchen and everything in it, cooking together, playing uno and skip-bo and being way too competitive, diy projects (see below), football games, reading, and being so excited for bed time to get under our new goose down comforter by Hotel collection. SO DREAMY!!!!!!!!!!! oh and we got a feather bed topper. Our bed is like being in a cloud. yeah buddy!

a very special gift-Wedding day

On our wedding day Brandon sent over a very special gift. We were not exchanging actual gifts since our insane honeymoon was our gift but we did special cards. He completely one upped me for sure. That man! He went to Willow Springs one weekend while I had girls day shopping for our Vegas wigs to write his vows. We wrote our own vows (that will be a different post) and he documented his whole day and made me a book. I have not cried that hard ever!!! I mean I could not stop. We (the girls) were getting ready and this insanely beautiful bouquet of flowers shows up and a book from Brandon. NO gift on this earth would have made me react that way. It was the best gift ever! Thank god I had just started my hair and not makeup. Everyone in the hotel room was crying...such an amazing moment!

I made him a card and with the help of his amazing Auntie sent him over his favorite snack; spam musubi. sick, i know but that boy loves it!

What an amazing amazing day!

Wedding Rehearsal-day & night

Happy Friday!!

Here is a sneak peak in to our wedding rehearsal day! ♥ We started the day off by going to Calamigos Ranch to practice walking down. It was such an emotional morning. When we got to Calamigos with all of our favors, DIY decorations, pictures, name cards, etc etc... I was shaking. It was so surreal. Our bridal party and family were waiting for us and I was in shock. i think...craziest feeling ever! That night we had dinner at Cisco's in Westlake Village. We had our own room and it was amazing! Our bridal party gave the sweetest speeches, our parents made us feel so loved and seriously the love and support in the room was magical! ♥

ok, since I was little (think 3ish) I had Rabbi. pronounced rabbee. He was my animal/ puppet thing that I needed at all times. I still have the original one and it's on our bed as we speak. He looks old and torn but i love him. My parents framed a new rabbi my mom bought when I was little and kept it for my wedding day. ♥

That night Brandon and I said our goodbyes and we were off to separate rooms. It was so weird!!! Such a perfect night!

looks like a pool right? that my dear friends is the beautiful ocean right outside our over water bungalow in Bora Bora. ♥

so...I am trying to get my life back together. It's weird not coming to work with my wedding planner (the husband bought me this one when we got engaged). I feel naked. It's weird not having 20 meetings a week and 70 people to call back about our wedding. My desktop at work looks like wedding images threw up all over it. I don't have the heart yet to take down the "on my honeymoon sign" in front of my office. Our house looks like a crate & barrel maze. The 2nd bedroom....well let's just say it's a playground for our cats. We have invitations, stamps, rsvp's, books, mail, gifts and junk everywhere. I mean everywhere. Where do we start? Well we did start with our Tahiti laundry since it smelled like we brought Bora Bora home. Seems dreamy but think old wet dirty clothes...mmmmm

We really can't believe it's all over. ALL meaning the wedding festivities we've been planning foorrrever<--sandlot voice. (only 8 months but that's a life time) The honeymoon we have dreamt of actually happened. It really happened! It was insanely magical! The showers, bachelor/ette parties, the rehearsal, the night before, the day of, the wedding and the honeymoon. It all happened! wowzaaaa! Now i'm writing about it and I've been a wife for 18 days. wowowow!!!!

I can't wait to finally start sharing our pictures with you all! Our wedding pics should be in soon and we are dying to see them! I can't wait to share all the DIY lovelies we did for our wedding day along with the songs we chose, the stuff we wore..etcetera etcetera.

I don't know about the married peeps out there but one of our favorite parts of the whole process was the rehearsal dinner. The rehearsal was fun and uuuubbber emotional since we were marking our every move for the BIG day but the rehearsal dinner was so nice. Our closest family and friends, dinner, drinks and the most incredible speeches ever. Our family and friends said some of the sweetest things to us, joked around with us and even sang to us. I brought Brandon's grooms cake out to the rehearsal so we can share with our greatest and dearest. (it may or may not have looked like a kid decorated it but everything on the cake meant something special). ♥ amazing night!

Just when you think a special day can't be topped and BAAAAAM!...our wedding day! It was a dream come true! really! I know everyone says that about their wedding day and that's how it should be! It's as if I was standing beside myself watching it all unfold. The planning paid off when I got to see everything come together so beautifully. I mean for those of you who have planned, you know that you don't see the final look until the day of. Sure we met with every vendor and made sure the flowers were ordered, the cake was designed, the table overlays were delivered BUT to see it all together was heaven. I really can't describe the feeling. and I will never forget it.

Brandon and I are really so blessed to have had the most amazing experience! I am so happy and honored to now call my very best friend my husband! Our wedding day was very emotional and filled with so much love. It literally makes me grin from ear to ear when I think about everything. and cry....im so emotional!!!

Every now and then we all need a good cry sesh. my time was last night. It's healthy to talk about things that upset you right? and crying can be so refreshing. i mean it makes you feel like a new person. I am so refreshed and ready for a new day! Saturday we went over to a friends house for his bday! We had so much fun playing beer pong, swimming, and eating the very best food thanks to Tracy. That girl can cook... ♥

Sunday was girls day wig shopping in Hollywood for our Vegas weekend!!!!! we had the best day however hollywood blvd is dirty, the stores are creepy, it smells and people are ruuuuuude. who knew? kidding...but seriously, it's so strange that people come to visit that creepy boulevard from all around the world. it's either not that great or I've been in LA too long....

We had lunch at a Tekila which was in the cutest little spot. We felt like we were out of town...San Antonio perhaps. :) <---inside joke. and it was right off Hollywood blvd. ok, so maybe it's not that bad..change of heart. I ♥ Hollywood.

Happy Monday sweets!

We had a great weekend spending time with friends and family and checking off more and more from our wedding to do's. ♥ Fiance and I went to downtown and picked out the lace for all the bouquets. teehee!! Can't wait to show you pics of the big day! We also dropped off the color swatch for our cake! so fun! our to-do list is getting shorter and shorter! EEEEEE!

We got to hang out with friends we haven't seen in a while since they live in NY and we had the best night! Playing games and laughing at the coolest bar (they supply all board games) called Henry's Hat in Studio City. So fun! The best part was they shared with us THIS exciting news and we can't wait to meet their new family member soon! ♥ we are so so so excited for them! They are seriously the sweetest people you will ever meet and will be the best parents! ♥

Dance is my passion. my inspiration. i grew up dancing and so happy i did. although there was a time where I stopped, I never stopped loving it. I'm so happy my parents put me in dance at such a young age. and all kinds. so I can find my passion. my heart. i never loved anything the way i loved dance. i remember running to class and being the tallest girl in the room. i was so self-conscious and would slouch to try and be shorter. but when we started dancing there was nothing that could bring me down. i felt free. every worry, every insecurity, every negative thought seemed to disappear. dance was my escape from the world.

then came Brandon. a boy I met when I was 12. Our relationship is like Dance...but more. The love I have for him is not explainable. It scares me to death that we are still so in love after eight years. crazy in love! How is that even possible? How did I meet my soul mate at such a young age? We have had our fair share of unhealthy moments. For a while it felt like we were constantly being tested. but at the end of the day it has always been us. We have come a long way together and have watched each other grow in to two totally different people eight years later. The amazing thing is that we love the people we've become. I love who I am because of him. How are we still so excited to have nights alone on the couch with a drink watching a funny show? He is the one I can't get enough of. The one I hate being away from. He is the one that gets under my skin like no other. he makes me happy. he makes all the negativity seem to not matter. he inspires me every day. the best part is that HE will be my husband in ONE month!

We received 8 rsvp's yesterday and i cried. I don't even know how i am going to function the day of the wedding. it's already a blur...an amazing blur. ♥

Happy Tuesday!

The Fiance and I went to another cake shop to taste on Sunday and we fell in love. It's THE place. OUR cake shop! We ordered it yesterday!!!! We went with A Sweet Design. They've been featured on The Knot, Project Wedding and on the news. Their shop was adorable, the cupcakes were delicious and the staff was so friendly! We are so excited and can't wait to see how beautiful our cake turns out! I love love love cake tasting. It's so fun to try all the different flavors you wouldn't normally pick.

We sent out our invitations last week and received our first RSVP!!! EEEEEKKKKKK it's so so so exciting! I'm going to become a mail checking freak. :)

HAPPY MONDAY!!!!
How was every ones weekend??
Mine was amazing!
Friday night we went go karting with friends and my bro's and had a great night! we did 3 rounds and by the end I was bruised and beat up from racing. It's fun to play like a kid sometimes. :)

Saturday B and I met with our florist at our venue and I can't even describe the level of excitement we feel! It's all coming together and I can't wait!!!! T minus 32 days!!! ♥
Saturday night we had a surprise party for B's Moms boyfriend and it was a fun successful night. We all dressed up in football gear and I was so excited to wear the cowboys jersey with my new last name on it that Brandon's mom gave me. LOVE!!! Mine has the number 6 for my bday and his has the number 12 for his bday. 1.2.3....AHHHHHHHHHH! ;)

hiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!
I'm back in LA and it's so nice to be home with my fianco!! we didn't see each other for 9 days! NINE!! that's a life time for us and was the longest we have gone with out each other in 8 years. i know....most people think we're sick. but...i missed him. so much.

Hong Kong was amazing!
I met all of our International distributors, helped set up the show room, stayed in an amazing hotel (the Intercontinental), ate too many carbs and drank champagne every night. Someone described Hong Kong to me as NY on steroids and that it was. It was insane how many buildings there are. Every night at 8pm all the buildings did a light show. lasers and all. amazing! We went to the night market and the only way I can describe it was a better version of Santee alley in downtown LA. We stayed on the Kowloon side but went to the Hong Kong side a few nights. so fun! I tried to work out in the mornings and failed but one morning we ran along the boardwalk and it was so nice. The weather was awful. It was so hot and humid that the moment you stepped outside you felt sticky and wet. It poured the whole time we were there and the last day it was gorgeous out. figures. It was a great experience and I hope I get to go back soon. I love my coworkers and am so thankful we get along so well! we had a great time together and laughed the whole trip. I'm sure most of the laughing was because I was so funny... :)

**I wanted to share with you a blog I found that has inspired me. I'm sure you have all seen the video with the husband holding up signs for his wife to the Marry me song by train (here). ((amazing video)). So I found out that the guy blogs about his battle with cancer and it's amazing! Cancer has touched down so close to home in my family and although it tore our family apart and caused separation and hurt, this man has inspired me to be a better person. I read through every post and although some made me cry, his passion for life and for his family is what truly got to me. I want to be like him some day! His strength is amazing and his fight is so powerful. Sending him and his family love and support from California.

Last Sunday was the best day ever! My family and my soon to be family threw me the most amazing bridal shower ever! it was beautiful! 40 of my closest family and friends with the exception of a few out of towners came to support Brandon and I. It was perfect. There are no words to describe how honored, blessed and loved I feel. the decorations were amazing, the favors were perfect, the food was amazing and the entertainment was hilarious!! The girls know that Brandon and I are Michael Bolton fans. don't judge! it's an inside thing and we can't help that we are HUGE fans. ;) so the girls ordered an impersonator to sing to me! It was amazing although he looked more like Rod Stewart and was one hell of a comedian. amazing!!!! one of the favors were lighters that said "a man loves a woman-B'Squared" and all the girls had them lit. so perfect. I can't even explain how hard we were laughing. Smiles all day long!! The best part was when he was singing my favorite MB song Brandon and my step Dad came out with flowers. PERFECTION!!!! ♥
I have the best family and I am one lucky girl!

Thank you all who made it the best day ever! I have been so blessed to have the amazing support and love behind B and I. We had a beautiful engagement party (here & here), my closest girlfriends threw me the the perfect intimate bridal shower (here) and now our families came together and hosted one amazing shower! I love everything about our wedding activities! Bachelorette party is next and then off to marry my very best friend!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! 53 days!!!

Last Sunday we went to a friends BBQ and had the best day! We played in the pool with great friends, ate enough to feed an army and drank...well a lot. It was such a lovely day!

Happy 4th of July!

How was your weekend? We honestly needed a long weekend! Well it ended up being a four day weekend for us because of a nightmare on Friday morning. I was getting ready for work and all of a sudden our smoke alarm went off. We could smell something burning but didn't know what it was. We ran around like crazy people unplugging everything and then noticed smoke pouring out of our vents. i panicked. i was hysterical. I'm the worst person in these situations. the.worst. I couldn't think about anything except for grabbing our cats who were running around like mad animals because the alarm is so loud. I thought our place was a goner. Brandon tried so hard to keep me calm but it didnt happen. I called 911 and couldn't speak...The fire department showed up and said our air conditioning unit had caught fire. Thank god we were home to turn the air off or we may have not had a home anymore. so so so scary. Needless to say everything is ok minus the fact we have had no AC all weekend. BRUTAL! Seriously this was the worst weekend for the air to go out since it was like 100 degrees in the valley every day. I think we lost a few pounds....Our cats are miserable and we can't wait until it's fixed.
any way.. that was our adventurous start to a great weekend!
The pics above are from an amazing BBQ our friend Tracy had on the 4th. We had the best time drinking, playing games, swimming and hanging with friends! so fun!
Our weekend also included a friend's wedding which was beautiful. B and I ordered our wedding bands!! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I bought my bridal shower dress and rehearsal dinner dress! We went to another BBQ on sat and stayed in the sun all weekend long. More pics to follow!

Brandon and I went to downtown and walked around the flower mart on Saturday. We bought the most amazing flowers. They were so so so cheap. seriously the prettiest flowers ever! We drove to cool different parts of dt and had a fun day together. it was the first time in months I even thought about wearing shorts. I found these from h&m and love how light they are. (and apparently see thru according to Fiance). The sun was shining and we loved it. Felt oh so nice.

Sunday was a dreamy, cloud 9, hands shaky, emotional kinda day. My amazing bridesmaids threw me the most beautiful bridal shower with 12 of my closest girlies! It was a hat shower at a tea house in Santa Monica called the Tudor House. It was beautiful! They made me a sign, and brought in the prettiest flowers for the table. Brandon's mom made all the desserts that are to die for! So fun! I loved everyones hats! I got the most amazing sexyfied gifts, fun cookbooks that have so much meaning, Mrs Scarpelli things including a bathing suit, jacket and hanger for my dress, gorgeous Bride stuff, aprons for the birde and groom, a burke williams gift card and more! and all the girls put together a photo album with pics of US inside. It was perfect! I seriously have the best friends! I have known some for years, recently got to know a few, worked with some, dance with some and are related to some. I love each relationship I have with them. They are all amazing and I am so blessed to have them all in my life. I felt so special yesterday thanks to all of them. Best day ever! I only cried a few times.....just a few... ;)

I made my bridesmaid a beautiful necklace as a little thank you for everything. They are sliced amethyst and each one was a different cut. i wrapped them in lace and made each name tag. i love anything handmade!

We also played a game and I failed. Brandon answered a bunch of questions and I had to answer how he would. let's just say.....we were off. I was off. way off. but i love him! :)

A very special thanks to my future husband! He showed up towards the end of the shower with gorgeous flowers for me, my mom and his mom. and then came back inside with sunflowers for every girl. he's perfect. in every way. ♥
I can't wait to be his wife!

Best bridal shower ever! I've dreamt about my bridal shower since I was a little girl and it was perfect in every way. I can't wait for my Shower in a few weeks with my family! ♥

Saturday was the LA Unbound show and it was amazing! I had so much fun! I think this was the best show I've been in so far. Other shows seen here and here. The positive energy was so great and I had such a great day with all the dancers! ♥ Every performance was my favorite. There are so many talented dancers that I adore so much.

I am so blessed and thankful for the people in my life that care about me and support US. We BBQ'd, drank and played games with my family last night and all we did was laugh. best night ever! ♥

A sneak peak in to one of my dances for the show...We are birds in a bird cage. SQUAWK! oh yah! so exciting. the best part about this cage is that it sits on the corner of La Brea and 1st street and we got quite the crowd when we were practicing. for example-a cop came on his loud speaker and told the girls that's how people get hurt, another guy pulled up to the light and took pictures on his cell phone and every time someone walked by we got the strangest looks. priceless. practice makes perfect right???

Show time is in 2 days and I'm excited but so exhausted. We had rehearsals from 7-12am last night. coffee is my best friend and it's not even that great of a friendship right now. i need more.

Happy Thursday on this gloomy day. it was seriously raining on my way in to work. yuk.

Last night we went to the premier of the movie Sunset Junction directed and written by a very talented dancer I met through LA Unbound, Jesus Rodriguez. The movie was beautiful!

"Sunset Junction: a personal musical" is a film by director Jesus Rodriguez. The film takes us through the lives of the underground artists who populate the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. Set to an original soundtrack, Jesus brings the film to life through stunning dance numbers that range from a classical ballet class to a passionate tango. Sunset Junction reminds us of our own creative struggles and inspires us to rethink the everyday.

The movie included most of the LA Unbound dancers I dance with and it was so great to watch them on the big screen and support them all! The dances were amazing, the story was intense and the love shared between everyone last night was magical. I am so lucky to have met such wonderful people through something i love to do! ♥

Hope you are all having a great week! Brandon left me today. :( he's in NJ for work. My dance show is this weekend and I am uber bummed he will miss it. sad sad sad.

i need help. an organizing life tip. my jewelry is all over the place. My bracelets are thrown in to a huge round jar and the ones on top are the lucky ones that are worn. My earrings are in a big wood jewelry case and the odds of me finding two that match before i have to leave for work are slim to none. Do you guys have any tips or special organizing skills to help me? ......and then there's my closet. oy....i seriously wear the same things every day because you have to be strong to move shit aside and find stuff that's in the back. poor me. no but really, i know the rule should be if you haven't worn it in a year you never will but i swear to myself i will when i find it. and then it's put in the back....i need a trip to the container store...or any tips you have.

Last night Brandon worked the Forza 4 launch party at LA Live. Forza 4 is an automotive Xbox game and if you are in to video games or cars it was the place to be. It was a gorgeous set up, open bar, amazing food and the amount of money spent on the event was insane. if only.......
Brandon ended up working the whole event but it was fun! we even took pictures with the famous Stig (i honestly thought Brandon was going to pass out). So funny that no one knows who he is. Travis Barker and Mix Master Mike performed and it was amazing! Travis is honestly the best drum player ever!!! he didn't stop! and MMM is simply amazing! the only word that comes to mind is dope. when is the last time you said/ heard that word. memmmorrriiiesss.... They were dope. ♥

it was a fun night to see the fiance in his prime. I'm so very proud of all of his hard work!!

We went to my parents house in Channel Islands for Memorial day. They had a bunch of friends over and we drank and ate way too much. I seriously think i gained 5 pounds. seriously. ~~goodbye wedding diet.~~ i love family time and sitting on the water makes everything better. ♥ One of the most exciting things was how excited everyone was that they recieved our Save the dates!!!!! EEEEEEEE!!!

We drove up to Monterey last weekend for my brother's girlfriends college graduation. We had a great time with me familia! i am so thankful for all of their support.
Monterey is beautiful! B and I went to the Wharf and walked around. so nice to get out and away from the stress.....
