love life.

hi lovies! sorry for being MIA but my weekend went from being one of the best to one of the worst.
rewinnnnnnnd-
last Friday we got to hang out with our friends Marie and Paul! we made sushi together and had the best time. we have not seen them in a year and i wish on everything that they lived closer. (NY is too far ;))
Saturday B and i got ready and headed out to Temecula for our anniversary weekend. our hotel was perfect, the wineries were amazing, we had the best dinner and the best time relaxing together. ****oh and....Brandon got me the most amazing diamond earrings! he is so sweet and i can't believe he bought me diamonds!!! (diamonds are my birth stone-teeeheee)
so Sunday morning we hung out by the pool and had in room massages. PERFECT! after our massage i had a voicemail from my step mom giving me bad news about my dad. :( he is back in the hospital and is not doing well. Please say your prayers that he gets better. we need all the love and prayers we can get! he will be starting chemo today and although i dont want to get too sappy on here, i figure that this is my online journal and this is what is going on in my life right now so why not?? sad and totally a debbie downer but it's life right? we are all so scared and are only hoping for the best.
so the last few days have been scary and bleh but we are trying our best to not break. it's heartbreaking to see someone that you love so much in so much pain. i wish i could take it all away. i wish i could grab someone and make them take it away. seeing my dad cry is the worst feeling. it's hard to see someone who has always been strong for you through life break down. it's hard to hear the Dr's give us bad news and see how scared my family is. i hate that there is nothing i can do to change this awful situation. i just want to sleep and wake up to good news. :( I am so lucky to have Brandon by my side. we are both on edge at this point but he is so supportive and i love him to death. i would be a mess without him. we also have the best friends and family. i love all the calls, texts and emails i have received from so many people that care. it makes us smile and feel better about the situation. sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i was looking at the pics below and our trip seriously feels like a year ago. Crazy how life is...

so anyway-hope you all had a GREAT long weekend even though a new one starts tomorrow. :) XOXO




























We got home Monday (our actual Anniversary) and B made us heart shaped burgers. so cute!!!!!!!
