A few weeks ago Husband and I decided to explore our new hood. This means we went bar hopping. :) We had a great night trying new beers and getting lost. It may have taken us a while to get home which prompted a photo shoot in the middle of the street.

I bought these insane steel toe JC's on sale at Desii lab in Florence and I'm obsessed. They are surprisingly so comfortable and they man handle the cobble stone streets without any issues. I love the way people stare at me when I wear them. 100% for sure they are thinking...WTF!!!!!??? and it makes me smile. People stare at me...then down at my shoes...then back at me. no joke. Some smile, some compliment and some look worried.

La Bella Vita- Forever Young

Now that's it getting hotter in Florence I have been able to wear my summer clothes! well kind of... It is currently not so hot. Firenze's weather is so moody. Hot/ cold/ scorching can't breathe heat-get this American to some AC/ thunder storms moody. So menstrual...
While husband was away last week I shopped till I dropped. literally. I was so bored with myself and could not walk around anymore. But I did some damage on Via dei Calzaiuoli. The shops are nice but the tourist watching is so much better. I swear if you find a little corner or some steps to a church make sure you people watch. f a s c i n a t i n g. 
I went in to Coin to buy some much needed things and found this 'forever young' shirt and had to. I'm obsessed with the fact that I am 30 in a holy shit kinda way and this shirt made me smile. Husband approved since he thinks we are so young. sighh...

Do you layer?

The weather is so moody in LA right now. It's [LA] freezing in the morning and in the 80's during the day and then it drops back down to the 40's at night. And I believe it's supposed to rain this weekend?! It's hard to dress for. I mean sure the people back east are annoyed with us west coasters for complaining that it's cold...I know it's not snowing here but in all fairness to us...it is cold for LA. I am all bundled up in the mornings and by lunch time I have stripped off my layers. When 5pm rolls around I am quickly adding them back on. Thank god for layering.

 



Here are some of my favorite layered looks found via weheartit & pinterest. I've literally been layering every day and currently have a mound of clothes by my desk...until 5 o clock. :)

ok, so shame.on.me. for being a t e r r i b l e blogger. But I'm over the lull. (how amazing is the word lull by the way?)
ok, ok..
So this weekend started off so CRAPPY and then got uber exciting. I went to work the CZ Falconer fashion show and ended up being IN the fashion show!!!!!!!!!!!! This was my first time doing anything like that. I was so nervous, excited and honored to be the impromptu model for CZ Falconer. Their new line is to die for and I seriously loved every piece. So gorgeous!
The crowd was amazing and I just couldn't help but laugh every time I walked the "run way". I had 3 looks and was on such a high. I want moreeeee!! :)

My brother and his friends had a table so after the show we danced and danced! B and I felt so old but that didn't stop us from getting a slice of pizza at 2am. oh yah!! pushing 30 and still rock stars! ;)

Sunday was definitely a fun day! we had friends over and semi watched the super bowl, laughed at the half time show and played beer pong like champs. again...rock stars. ;)
