US weekend-Day 1

Friday night B and I had a hot date! hahaha i came home from work and he had the biggest bouquet of gorgeous flowers i have ever seen. they are huge and beautiful! we went to see Valentine's Day which i do not recommend at all. netflix it. it was "cute" but not worth paying $29.50 for two people. eff that. After the movie we went to have some yummy mexican food and delicious long islands. We talked for hours and closed the restaurant. we had such a fun night! i love date nights! ♥

please excuse the messy hair. it was a long day. lol. dress/ ring-h&m, booties-F21

I hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day weekend!
sure, we don't need one day to tell someone you love them because you should show it everyday. but do we need Mother's day to show our Mom's we love them? Do we need Father's day to show our Dad's we love them? no. it's a fun corky day and if you are in a healthy loving relationship you will know it's not about how much money HE spends on you but how much he shows his love for you. how much you show him. how much he goes out of his way to make you feel special. what you do to make each other smile. it all comes down to love. and if there is a day where people want to express it a bit more than shit, I'll take it. what girl wouldn't? what guy wouldn't? it shouldn't be about what he does for you and what he gets for you. screw the hallmark cheesiness of the day. it should be about your relationship. your bond. your love.it should go both ways. Brandon and I spoil each other and it doesn't mean with gifts. we love the time we share together and we know how to make each other smile. So i hope you all had a lovely weekend. and not just with a significant other. sharing love with your friends, your family, your pets and food counts too. i hope your weekend was filled with LOVE. ♥

We saw Valentine's day too and I just thought it was poor man's Love Actually. it's exactly what I expected to be...it was entertaining but you're right now worth all that $.

I love your lil blurb at the bottom that describes what Valentine's Day "should" be like> Unfortunately there are still people in the word that get caught up in the commercialized version. Oh well sucks for them. I love how we treat each other every day of the year and the love that WE share!
