Happy TWOZDAY

whataweekend...

FRIDAY we woke up at 4:30 AM (oiy) and headed up to San Jose. We went to the wedding rehearsal and then to Buca’s for dinner. What a meal. The food would not stop. I swear I have never seen that much food in my life. But you can never go wrong with Buca’s. mmmmm. We partied in Mark’s room for a bit and then crashed. It was a long day. Saturday was THE day!! The wedding ceremony was beautiful. The church is breathtaking and it was so cute to see the love between Mark and Ashley. It was so surreal when we all stood up waiting for the bride. It was by far the longest isle I had ever seen and when we were waiting for her to come down all you can see in the distance was this beautiful white dress. Chills. When she came down it was so hard not to cry when you saw how Mark reacted. He was in tears and looked so happy! Brandon was up there the whole time and looked amazing!
Off to the reception. Can I just tell you that it was the perfect wedding? What wedding isn’t perfect? The wedding party and their significant others (ME) got to sit at the “HEAD table”. Yah, we were special. Their song was perfect, the room was gorgeous and the food was delicious. There are so many things that I am going to copy like having a photo booth at the wedding. It was the hit of the night. Brandon was the Best man and was terrified to give his speech. That’s a huge responsibility; one being the best man and two being his brother! Woo…let’s just say that he rocked! And no, I’m not just saying that cause’ he’s my bf, he really did a great job and made people cry. I did. After the speeches we drank and danced the night away. After the reception we all went to a club, The Cellar, and had 3 tables and partied more!!! It was so much fun!
Sunday we were hurting. We hung out and had lunch at the tequila bar in San Jose and then played Kings at B’s sister’s house. We stayed another night. We left Monday and finally made it home. Our big weddings are finally over. I am so happy to go back to our normal lives. We have been non stop for 5 weeks! I love weddings and all but man are they draining…Oh did I mention that we just got an invitation for one in Sept?! ughh. Haha! At least we have some time to relax…..

Sigh of relief….Brandon and I had a crazy weekend full of craziness. Saturday we went to the dodger game with everyone from my work. Office outing! It was fun but not the place to mingle with co-workers. It was kind of impossible. Then we went to Courtney and Bryan’s engagement party. It’s so crazy to be at an age where our friends are getting married. One by one they keep getting engaged. Smile. It was very nice. Sunday was by far one of the best days EVER! Well the morning started off super rocky but we flipped the day around. Brandon and I grabbed lunch at Flookys. Sounds strange and yes it is a hole in the wall but it was yummy. They have everything! Then we went to Balboa Park and sat on a blanket and threw bread at the ducks. It was such a romantical day. cheese but I loved it. Then Brandon took me to this place where they fly and race remote control airplanes. They were huge!! I can’t really describe everything that happened but all I can say is that it was one of the greatest days. I love being in love.

Happy Monday! YAY for summer hours. I get off at 3 on Fridays! Holler.

another crazy bachelorette party!

San Francisco was so much fun. not sure where to begin….the drive up was awful although we did listen to every song on my ipod. Lol. “music ODD”. Hahaha
Saturday was “The Day”. It was Mark’s Bachelor party and Ashley’s Bachelorette party. Sigh….All I am going to say is that Bachelorette parties bring out the freakiness in everyone!!! We had a wild and crazy night and I was not expecting that at all. In fact I was expecting something completely different. SF=CRAZINESS

So..I had to share this crazy news with you guys….Random things always happen to me and last night I found something out that is awesome yet creepy..A good friend from way back in the day (7th grade) has recently found me on myspace..Ok, no big deal right? I mean who doesn’t have a myspace account these days? So…we are talking back and fourth in email and decide to make lunch plans and I had asked where she lived. She says Reseda and Hatteras..Ok---me too. BUT it’s a long street so I ask her for the address seeing if our buildings are near each other and…..WE ARE IN THE SAME COMPLEX!! What? How does that happen? Brandon and I just moved in about 5 months ago and we are always outside whether we’re at the pool, gym or in our garage and I can’t believe we haven’t bumped in to each other. Totally creepy but I guess we were meant to be in each other’s lives. I was seriously in shock yesterday. I thought it was some sort of a joke…crazy how life works.

And what is even more shocking is that people without cars in NY are still buying the spots for investment purposes. What?! Seriously this proves that people have nothing better to do with the money that they have. Parking spots in New York are going to increase and soon be worth more than a home in California. Sigh…this is really quite disturbing when the money they are spending on a place to park can be going towards homeless children who need food and water to stay alive. There are people dieing everyday due to their poverty levels and people who can actually make a difference with their money are buying a piece of pavement with 2 painted lines. ICK!

This past weekend was by far one of the greatest weekends ever. Starting on Thursday night being Marie’s BACHELORETTE party! It was one of the best girl's nights out EVER! We all went to dinner at Koji’s. If you haven’t eaten there and have not tried shabu shabu, I highly recommend it. Thanks to Jenn cause it was yummy. We had our own room which worked out perfect!





From there Jenn and I ran to the Roosevelt hotel where we had a huge surprise for Marie. When she knocked on the door none other than a sexy cop answered and began stripping for our Bride to be. We had such a great time.


Seriously the first guy manhandled us! Haha yep that’s right, we had more than one guy. After the officer was done….we had a SWAT guy come in! Hehe he wasn’t that great and actually was a dud…but it was fun.

After that we all walked down Hollywood blvd and ended up at Mood. We danced and drank all night long! Our bachelorette was having such a good time and that’s all we wanted. As the night was coming to an end we saw TOM from Myspace. Hahah how random. I wasn’t sure if it was really him but the DJ kept announcing it and people were recognizing him so what else to do than have a photo shoot with the bajillionair himself???


The next morning we woke up and Marie treated us all to the Spa. So nice. We did pilates for 30 mins which is now my new fetish and then we got paraffin dips and it was off for a facial. So nice. Then it was off to the rehearsal….

WOW! The bridesmaids all met at the salon around 7am for our hair, nails and makeup.



A lot happened from 7am-2pm but before we knew it we were sitting in the Limo with the Bride to be. She looked so beautiful in her gorgeous dress. She was glowing and it felt so good to be a part of her day! we arrived at the church and took a million and one pictures. Then we were told to wait in the Bridal room until it was time to walk down the isle….time flew by so fast…it was time for us to all line up and begin the ceremony. I was so nervous. not only did I want nothing more than to not trip but I was so nervous for Marie. She is my first friend to say “I DO” and it was so surreal. we were standing in the front of the church waiting for the Bride to walk down. Can I just tell you that when she walked down the isle she looked like a princess. Her dress was to die for and she had the biggest smile. I only cried two times during the ceremony. Oh and once when we got back to Marie’s before we left because Paul had dropped off flowers and a note. Ughh….it’s not good to cry right when you get back with your makeup done. Haha











The reception was beautiful. I loved everything about their day/weekend! I can’t believe it’s over! I met so many wonderful people who adore the newly weds! The room was filled with so much love! I love weddings!!!

Sunday we all went to Marie's house for lunch! I swear it seemed like everyone was there! the newly weds look so happy and so in love! YAY!




I love you Marie! Thank you for everything! I can't believe you are a WIFEY!!!!
